1. Why a business may already have a multi
myMulti may pre-generate a multi for an economic entity using publicly available, licensed or partner-provided business information. A pre-generated multi is intended to create an address and structured point of reference for the entity; it does not mean the business has subscribed to a paid service.
2. Claiming and verifying a multi
An authorized representative may claim a business multi and complete verification. Verification may require control of business contact channels, company information, identity verification or other evidence reasonably necessary to protect the business from impersonation.
3. Correcting information
If you identify inaccurate or outdated business information, you may request correction. Please provide the business name, relevant multi/address, the information you believe is inaccurate, the corrected information, and evidence reasonably supporting the request.
4. Challenging publication or processing
You may also challenge the source, lawfulness or continued publication of personal data associated with a business record. myMulti will assess the request based on the nature of the information, the requester’s authority, applicable privacy rights, legal obligations, legitimate interests and the reliability of available sources.
5. Verified, sourced and inferred information
Where practicable, myMulti distinguishes information verified by an authorized business from information obtained from other sources or generated through inference. Verification does not guarantee that every piece of information will remain current indefinitely.
6. No paid ownership of the address
Activation or verification of a multi is not the purchase of a public fact, directory record or exclusive legal right to underlying third-party information. Paid myMulti services are separate from the business’s ability to request correction of inaccurate information.
